Grok Bot Pricing: What $20, $30, $100 and $300 a Month Actually Buy
Grok Bot has no plan of its own. It comes bundled with SuperGrok and Cursor plans from $20 to $300 a month. Here is what each one gets you, what the free trial is, and the $0 route for work agents.
The cheapest way into Grok Bot is Cursor Pro at $20 a month. The cheapest SpaceXAI plan with it is SuperGrok at $30. The biggest agent allowance sits in SuperGrok Heavy at $300. There is a seven day trial, not a free plan. If you only need work agents, you can run them free on your own computer.
Grok Bot is SpaceXAI’s team of always on AI agents, called Bots. They sign into your apps, do the work on a cloud computer and keep going with your laptop shut. It reached 418,000 weekly users a month after launch. The pricing confuses a lot of people, because there is no “Grok Bot plan” to buy. It comes inside other subscriptions.

Every plan that includes Grok Bot
Grok Bot launched in beta on 11 August 2026 for only three top plans: SuperGrok Heavy, Cursor Ultra and Cursor Premium Teams. On 26 August SpaceXAI opened it to more plans. Here is where it stands now.

Prices come from SpaceXAI’s pricing page, VentureBeat’s launch report and Cursor’s plan pages, checked in September 2026. Cursor Standard Teams also includes Grok Bot. Linking an individual X Premium+ subscription works too. SuperGrok Lite does not include it.
Is Grok Bot free?
No. There is a free trial, and Cursor’s Grok Bot plans page describes it as a usage credit with a seven day window. It does not turn into a paid plan by itself. When the credit or the week runs out, you need one of the plans above.
Does Grok Bot eat into your plan’s usage?
No, and this is the best part of the pricing. SpaceXAI says Grok Bot comes with its own usage, separate from your Grok and Cursor plans, so a job you hand to a Bot does not count against your chat or coding allowance. Bot usage resets every week. Bigger plans get a bigger weekly allowance, and SpaceXAI has not published how many tasks each allowance covers.
At launch, eesel’s review noted there was no spend cap on extra usage. If you turn on paid extra usage, keep an eye on it.
What you get for the money
Every plan gets the same product: Bots that work on a cloud computer, sign into your apps through a browser, run routines on a schedule and hand work to each other in shared threads. The desktop app runs on macOS, Windows and Linux, and there are phone apps.
What you do not get at any price:
- A choice of model. Cursor picks the model and the mix can change.
- Your own computer. Bots run only on Cursor’s cloud computers in the US. Running them on your own servers is not supported.
- Walls between Bots. All the Bots on your account share one computer and its logins.

Which plan should you pick?
- You already pay for Cursor Pro. You already have Grok Bot. Try it before paying for anything else.
- You want Grok Bot and you use Grok for chat. SuperGrok at $30 covers both.
- You will run several Bots all day. Look at SuperGrok Heavy or Cursor Ultra, because the weekly allowance is what runs out first.
- You are buying for a team. Cursor Teams plans, priced per seat.
The $0 route for work agents
If your Bots would mostly do engineering or other work on files, compare the cost of running the agents yourself.

If you already pay for a Claude or ChatGPT plan, the agents run on that. If you want to spend nothing on tokens, run it on open models with Ollama, LM Studio or vLLM.
The honest trade: agents run only while your computer is on, and Munder Difflin will not do errands like booking travel. For overnight work, a Mac mini that stays awake does the job for a one time cost.
